【摘要】:Testingmachinesthatapplyandindicatetorqueareingeneraluseinmanyindustries.PracticeWK6364hasbeenwrittentoprovideapracticeforthetorqueverificationofthesemachines.AnecessaryelementinPracticeWK6364istheuseofdeviceswhosetorquecharacteristicsareknowntobetraceabletonationalstandards.PracticeE2428describeshowthesedevicesaretobecalibrated.Theproceduresareusefultousersoftorquetestingmachines,manufacturersandprovidersoftorquemeasuringinstruments,calibrationlaboratoriesthatprovidecalibrationservicesanddocuments,andserviceorganizationsusingdevicestoverifytorquetestingmachines.1.1Thispracticeistospecifyprocedureforthecalibrationofelastictorque-measuringinstruments.Note18212;Verificationbydeadweightandaleverarmisanacceptablemethodofverifyingthetorqueindicationofatorquetestingmachine.TolerancesforweightsusedaretabulatedinPracticeWK6364;methodsforcalibrationoftheweightsaregiveninNISTTechnicalNote577,MethodsofCalibratingWeightsforPistonGages.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thispracticeisintendedforthecalibrationofstaticorquasi-statictorquemeasuringinstruments.Thepracticeisnotapplicableforhighspeedtorquecalibrationsormeasurements.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
