【摘要】:Glossmeasurementsareusedtoqualifyarawmaterialorfinishedproduct.Samplepreparationwilleffecttheoutcomeofglossreadings.Thispracticewilleliminatesecondsurfacereflection,andallowamoreaccurateglossreadingofthesubstrate.Materialswhichrequirethispreparationincludethefollowing:clearortranslucentsubstrates,coloredtransparentsubstrates,andareasprintedwithclear,translucent,ortransparentcoloredcoatings.1.1Thispracticecoversthemethodofsamplepreparation,priortotakingglossmeasurementsonamembraneswitchoverlay.1.2Typicalapplicationsincludewindowdisplayareasonagraphicoverlay,andsurfacetexture.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
